The Lord of the Rings: War in the North is een co-op Action RPG die jou en je vrienden onderdompelt in een brutaal nieuw hoofdstuk van de War of the Ring. Snowblind Studios bevindt zich in de unieke positie om inspiratie te putten uit zowel de literaire als de filmrechten op de wereld van Middle-earth, waardoor spelers hun bijlen kunnen bebloeden op een breed scala aan dodelijke vijanden en zowel bekende als nooit eerder geziene locaties kunnen doorkruisen. Het resultaat is een reis die zowel episch als intiem is, vertrouwd maar onverwacht.
