Vecht je een weg door bebloede slagvelden vol intense zwaardgevechten. Verken de historische Japanse hoofdstad Kyoto uit de Edo-periode, verwrongen door kwaadaardige wolken van Malice.

Elke stage is gehuld in mysterie, gevaar en intrige. Strijd tegen monstruositeiten uit de onderwereld, bekend als Genma, in een dark-fantasyverhaal.

Volg het verhaal van een samoerai die de Oni Gauntlet hanteert, een mystiek artefact dat zijn drager de kracht geeft om Genma te doden.

Tijdens rauwe, bloeddoordrenkte gevechten zoekt hij naar zijn reden om te vechten. Welk lot wacht hem aan het einde van zijn pad?
